Goldilocks

A public plea to my little sister, Katrina... You're going to help me with this hair, right?! This is Rachael after her bath, and this is how her hair stays until she lays on it. Or sits in her carseat. I refuse to mousse her baby hair... I think.

And yesterday I got bold and attempted piggy tails in that hair.

She would take them out from time to time, but would always let me put them back in until the end of the day. She had quite an interesting look going for her then, but it was easy enough to wet her hair and get the springy, bouncy curls back!

This hair is going to be fun!

No one helped me with my hair until HIGH SCHOOL. Tough noogies. :-D Just kidding, there's not much you can do at this stage. I've heard not to shampoo it but once or twice a week and to just use conditioner. The friction will help keep it clean.

The curls are cute! But I know each hair style has its pros and cons, but after looking at all the bone straight shaggy dog hair in my offspring (which is what I always longed for in myself but never have had) it is fun to see the curls.

Oh I love it!!! Just a tiny bit of mousse or gel will go a LONG way in pretty little curls like that! Also, you could try a spray gel which is much less "sticky" and crunchy.

Believe it or not, I have curly hair and my hair was just like Rachael's was when I was little. Enjoy it! :o)
